So just wanted to give a bit of an update on Jared. He met with our family dentist who told him that there were two possible breaks in his jaw. He referred Jared to an oral surgeon who confirmed that there were two breaks in the jaw along with the joints being flat rather than round. He also told him that due to so much time between the accident and now that the breaks have somewhat healed but not correctly. He will need to wear an appliance and have therapy to see if the breaks will heal correctly along with the joints. They don't want to try surgery because that is the last resort for these type of breaks. The surgery might not even help.
Want to say thank you for all your prayers for Jared. Through all the pain and discomfort he served a very honorable mission. I am so very proud of him.
