Last week was another crazy one! I've starting to realize that's just what missions are. We were preparing for 2 baptisms on Saturday and had an exchange so Sorella Morley and I went to Verona for a day! Elvis and Genesis were baptized on Saturday and they are just great! I have only know them for a few weeks but already their testimonies are truly inspiring! The baptism was beautiful! There was such an amazing spirit there testifying to me of the power of missionary work!
Last week we got to got to Venice and Verona! So great! They are both so beautiful and there are wonderful people there. Verona is pretty big but it has a small town (historic) feel to it everywhere. I loved it! We had a lesson in the park with a young man who was very catholic. He has a Book of Mormon that he's never read. Sister Clawson (the sister I was on the exchange with) and I truly felt that was where we were supposed to be.
This week we've decided to visit all the members in our part of the area and it's already been so amazing! I'm learning names so much faster and building relationships with the members. They are so understanding of my Italian. It is so terrifying to try and get a word in when they're talking a mile a minute and you don't really know what they just said haha. I've already had 3 members offer to be my mom away from home :) So precious! And I've been able to see some beautiful parts of Italy and our area by getting out there. I wonder how many miles we do these days...
I hope you're all doing well! Sorry my emails are pathetic and short haha... I have no idea how Meagan manages to get so much written...
Love you all!!
Vi voglio bene!!
Sorella Jarvis!
