Hola mi familia,
How's is everyone doing? I've been better. The story of the week follows.
7/8 The baptism of Abril went off without a hitch. Well, we didn't have a suit that fit her. That was a problem. But she was great. She looked super happy. I can't believe that the Lord has blessed me with all that he has. My life is awful right now, but I'm so happy I can't describe it.
7/11 We had a lesson with this Less Active young woman. She hasn't come to church, she doesn't really read the Book of Mormon, but she does pray every day. We finally had a breakthrough with her. She finally let her doubt out. I felt so bad for her. I see the some pain in her eyes that I have. It's heartbreaking. She really needs the gospel in her life. Even though she started crying it was beautiful to see.
7/12 We had zone conference. It was the two zones that transferred over from phoenix mission. we still have this phoenix spirit about us. it's so refreshing to come from an obedient mission that chooses to be obedient because we love the Lord instead of this new mission that is obedient by force. The entire presentation felt like it was directed to me as a missionary. I felt the blessing of heaven pour out upon me. I had a meeting with the president afterwards and talked to him about coming home. I told him I can't take the pain anymore and I got my answer that it is time. I'm super depressed, but I have one thing keeping me happy and afloat. My mission has been the best part of my life. I can't wait to serve a senior couple mission with my eternal companion. Then we had a temple trip. We went to the Mesa temple. We took investigators and members. It is so awesome that we have a temple so close to us. I love it! it was super peaceful.
I just want to close with my testimony. I know that each one of us has a plan, a plan that that Heavenly Father has prepared for us. he loves us. He knows what we need. I know that the church is true. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
Con Amor,
Elder Jarvis
