Hola,

Como estan?

The subject says "a week of miracles"

7/2 I went to the doctor again to get my mouth and head checked out. He told me that they are going to try and brace me up with some type of splint or something. If that doesn't work then I am going to need surgery. That means mission is over. In my new mission they send missionaries home for surgery. I'm gonna see what I can do. I don't want to come home, but I know the blessing that will come from being humble and doing it. It's the best blessing in the world. I'm pretty happy because of it. So not pretty happy... extremely happy! Most i have ever been.

7/3 We had a lesson with this girl. I have been teaching her for a while now. Since Elder Neves was here with me. So pretty much 4-5 months. We could never get permission to baptize her. Her mom said know. I had a member with me. She was super helpful. I taught that we have to love our moms even if they don't let us do what we want. Sometimes they know best and everything. Then Astrid talked about how this Sunday was fast Sunday. How she should fast and she will be baptized. It was completely perfect because that is what we were supposed to teach that night. She like read my mind about what to do. Flawless! Super powerful.

7/6 Trial of our faith happened this day. The day started off awful. Elder King had a flat tire as soon as we grabbed our bikes to head to a funeral for a member. We needed to be there at 8 to practice for the choir. It was like 7:45. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the church. We arrived at 8:45 because we had to walk. We walked all the way there. takes like 40 to 45 minutes. I do what needs to be done for the members. We had to walk all day long. From that time we left the apartment to 9 at night. It was miserable. I was hurting so bad. I didn't have any pain killers at all. It was maybe one of the hardest days of my mission.

7/7 The blessings of the trial. We get to church and Abril's grandma comes up to us and says we have good news. Abril received permission that day to get baptized. We just started jumping around and screaming and hooting and hollaring. It was crazy! We were fasting for this that day. We the missionaries, Astrid, and the girl and her family. Such a testimony builder about how the God blesses us even when you feel like you're dying. Which I do. She is getting baptized tonight at 6. How awesome is that? Milagros!!!

7/7 Nahum is back from Mexico. He came back for the month. I miss this kid. He is such a cool recent convert. It made my day as well on Sunday.
