We had a really cool week with one investigator family. We had a lesson with them 3 straight days. At each lesson we had a member present. Even better than that it was a different member in each lesson. 3 separate members in 3 different lessons back to back to back. How awesome is that? Pretty Awesome.
5/9 We had a zone conference on thursday. It was super cool. That is when all the missionaries get together at one building and the president and his wife teach us. We had a 1.5 hour lesson on the scattering and gathering of Israel. How it was fortold in the old testament that their was going to be a scattering and how in the latter days a restoration and gathering was going to be needed. It was a beautiful scriptural presentation.
5/10 The 10 is Mother's day in mexico. We had a cena por el dia de las madres. A mother's day dinner. It was super cool. We had karioke and the members sang songs and the primary did a presentation with giant posters that they hand drawn. The flipped them over and they said "Te Amo Mama" ( I love you mom) It was super cool.Gringos (white people) don't know how to have fun.
5/11 We are teaching this lady that makes pinatas. She is super good a them. Since Elder Neves is going home is wanted to teach us how to make pinatas. That was super fun. I couldn't believe how easy and hard it is to do that. It was such much fun. She has gained a tesimony of the Libro de Mormon and it has really been a blessing in our teaching.
5/11 Also this day we had a baptism. OH YEAH! It was a great baptism. We had an Elder that taught her before come back and perform this saving ordinance. It was a great night. Now just need the parents to get papers and baptize them and the family will be completed. I'll send pictures.
