This past week was splendid if I do say so myself! We are still beaming from our conference with Anziano Teixeira and striving to put into practice all that we learned from out great leaders! My companion and I had the opportunity to go to Verona for a scambio (Exchange). It was so great! I got to work with one of the Sister Training Leaders, Sorella Willis. She is such a sweetheart! In the morning we walked around the city doing some finding work. We met a woman and talked to her for about 30 minutes. She was telling us all about her life and what she believed in and the Whole time I was thinking, "Wait, that's what we believe, too!" We exchanged numbers and hopefully the Verona sisters will see her again. i think she's definitely a future Relief Society president :)
It was a little rainy but oh well... They're already prepping for Christmas since there's no Thanksgiving.
Sunday was just the best day ever. We had the primary program in sacrament. I wanted to cry the whole time it was so cute! One of our investigators was in it too! She just had the best time and she did so great! Then afterwards we had a branch dinner. It was so great! There is just something about food bringing everyone together. I loved being with our whole branch family and it made me so grateful for the opportunity I have to be here with these Amazing people. Who knew, our lives were so far apart, our paths had never crossed and now I can't imagine life without them :)
I love being a missionary. I love this gospel and I love my family. Each and every person we pass on the streets, work with, or talk to each day is a child of our Heavenly Father. Each of them deserves the blessing of knowing who they are and the purpose of this life. Don't miss a chance to love someone :)
This is Rocca Sforzesca:
Love you!
Sorella Jarvis
PS. I'm sorry I've been the worst at getting back to emails and such...I'm trying to write letters :)
