I'M GETTING TRANSFERRED. I am sooooo sad and yet so excited for this new adventure. I am really sad because the Ward that I was just in... they are taking out sisters all together. Hermana Mangum was also transferred (She is going to be companions with Hermana Smith- one of my companions in Greeley- I'm so jealous!) I love the Broomfield 3rd ward. I was still getting to know a lot of the people. So after the mission I will be visiting!!!! Once a member of the Broomfield 3rd Ward-Always a member.
I'm just moving 20 minutes down the road into a home that I have stayed at before. When Hermana Mangum and I first came to Broomfield we didn't have a place to stay and so this wonderful family let us stay with them for a few days. How crazy!!!! This is my new companion, Sister Woessner :) She is fantastic and I am really excited to be working with her in the Louisville (Louis-ville... Not Louie-vul) Ward. She has been serving in the ward since July and she loves the people. They have a few investigators and I am excited to get to work. Ha ha and that is my zone leader, Elder Gable, photo bombing us. He went home this morning so it is sad to not have him around anymore.
This last week has been really great. Mike and Carole, the family we have been doing service with are amazing. They really do love us missionaries and it has been amazing to get to know them. The elders that they have been working with had a baptism on Saturday and they invited them. Carole had to work but Mike came!!!!! And he loved it :) And he also came to church on Sunday to watch the confirmation and stayed for Sacrament meeting. It was such a blessing. Hermana Mangum and I were jumping off the walls for joy when we found out. What an amazing blessing. Last night Hermana Mangum had to say goodbye. And it was so hard. They are the sweetest people ever and it was hard to say goodbye. I am so grateful that I get to stay in the area and stay in touch with them. What a blessing. Here is a picture of Mike and Carole and I :)
We are running out of time. Today is a short emailing day... Sad. but maybe we will be able to get on again soon.
I love you all. I know that I am called here to serve for a reason and I am looking forward to this next adventure. I know that Jesus Christ loves me, that He is my Savior and Redeemer and that through Him we can receive strength. Trust in Him!
Con carino,
Hermana Jarvis
