How is everybody doing this week? Not to much went down this week. We had some good lessons and taught a good bit of lessons. We just need to get more progressing investigators.
6/5 I had to go on an exchange to Cielito. I was a great experience. I was with Elder Cassity. He is an Elder that is trainee. He is doing some great things in his area. He has done some great things the few times that I have been with him. We met some really cool people. We met a man that was only English. We talked to him for 15 mins. I was a really cool contact that came from just asking for some aqua.
6/6 We have really been struggling to get member referrals. It has become more of a hope than anything. We teach an English class every Thursday. We got there and the teacher was in her car in the parking lot. No students had shown up. We started talking to her and I asked when we can come over for some dinner. She said tomorrow night (Friday). She then said that she will have a friend over that can we can start teaching. It was great. We ate dinner with them the following day and he came to church this past Sunday (yesterday). It was a MIRACLE! A tender mercy from the Lord.
6/8 Elder Neves and I found this man back in January. It was a crazy find. We knocked on his door and we had a bad address. They have finally committed to come to Church. He is active in his church which is good, but it's not complete. Super happy when they both said that they need to come next week. The best part was when we got there. He was reading in Moroni ch. 1-6. We went over the importance of the sacrament and how they need to come experience it. His reading turned out to be a blessing for our lesson.
The area is doing well. Our zone should have 9 baptisms this weekend. That will be great. I can't believe that the zone is doing so well. It has been a really blessing since we will be switching missions come July 1, 2013.
