Querida Mi familia,
6/11 We finally got to perform some service... We helped one of if not my favorite family with some room rearranging. We spent 3-4 hours over there helping them move furniture and things from one bed room to another. Because they wanted to switch who is sleeping where because two of the daughters were gonna start sharing a room. Being in this home has become my safe haven. I just feel good there. Like nothing bothers me. It's hard to explain. it is just peaceful. I wonder if that is how the missionaries back home feel when they come over.
6/12 We've tried to teach this family for a while now and we just haven't been able to. They just moved and everything. They have been going thru a ton. We finally found them. It was such a great lesson. We taught lesson 1 about joseph smith. It was such a spiritual lesson. She was basically teaching herself for a while. Because she understood how everything was put together. At the end of the lesson she told us this crazy story.... She was in a huge slump, depression, sadness and darkness was all she felt. She went home and said a prayer. She asked if God really existed and if he loved her and stuff like that. She said it was the best prayer she has ever done. After the prayer she said she felt hands come upon her head and it was warm and it felt wonderful. She said for the next 2 months nothing bothered her and I was simply the best she has ever felt. Gave her a baptismal calendar. told her to pray for a date and she did it right then and there. After the prayer she closed her eyes and 19 came to her mind. She circled it and said July 19 will be the day that I will be baptized. Really cool!
6/13 Went to the doctor this day. It didn't go so well. So the left bone that connects to the jaw to the face is disintegrating. Like it didn't appear and the pieces that did didn't look good. The right side has a fracture in it. I still think my neck is part of the problem, but I'm not sure anymore. So I gotta call another doctor to see what to do. But it doesn't look good.
6/15 Did a church tour with an investigator. He's pretty new to the lessons. We ended at the baptismal font. I asked him if he has been praying about baptism. He said he doesn't want to rush and do it like in 2 days. We did a prayer and he chose to do it on the 6/25. It was pretty sweet. We are going to have to cram in some lessons. It was super spiritual. Totally threw me off guard.
Later that night... I was having some feelings that I was being watched when I was praying. It was weird. I can't really explain. So I prayed fast and jumped into bed. I still felt weird. I turned over and laid there for a little bit. My ear was uncovered by the blanket. Started felling something blowing on my ear then RRROOOOOOAAAAAAARRRRRRR. Straight up nasty and bad growling. It was awful. freaked me out. I just yelled out "IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST LEAVE!" It stopped the noise. I still felt freaked out the rest of the night. I freaked everybody else out because they didn't hear anything. NuTsO!!! o_O
6/16 The hnas had a baptism the night before and the girl was getting confirmed. Our new ward mission leader did the confirmation. Then in 3rd he received the Mel. Priesthood. PROBLEM.... You can't confirm anyone without the Mel Priesthood. He honestly didn't know and the bishop didn't saying anything. We went over to his home later for a meeting. We started laughing and asked him. He laughed super hard about it. We gotta figure out what to do now...
