The first letter from Arizona- Elder Jarvis

Jared is doing great! His companion is from Brazil. Elder Neves speaks English, Portuguese, and Spanish and he's been out 18 months. Jared will be done month 3 on the 11th. He and his companion are getting along very well. They were riding their bikes the other day and got soaked. Elder Neves told him it barely ever rains there and then oddly enough, it poured! He said they bike about 10-15 miles a day. I thought that was crazy! Jared is really excited about a family he's teaching. I think he said it was about 5 of them that they were teaching the gospel to. I think it's amazing! He loves getting letters from everyone so keep them coming! His Spanish is coming along. It's a little frustrating for him at church because he isn't able to understand everything just yet. He heard some great speakers at the MTC. I loved hearing the stories. I wish I had more to tell but he didn't write much. His new address is:
