It was another cold week here in Bergamo but you wouldn't know it from being inside. It's been freezy cold but nice and sunny :) We have been out a lot this week trying to find those that Lord is preparing to hear the message of the restored gospel. What better way to spend your day!?
This week we had so many AMAZING miracles! We had a scambio with the Sister Training Leaders and it was just the best ever. I was with Sorella Lyman who's from North Carolina. We had the most peaceful day and we got so much done. We got 3 numbers to meet with people and had 4 lessons. It was one of the best days I've had in a long time. And we decided to just walk instead of taking the bus to our appts so we got to walk around this beautiful city and talk to everyone we saw.
Another wonderful miracle? Our new convert, Walter, received the priesthood! It was amazing :) We are so excited for him and all the amazing these in store for his life. He made a lot of changes in his life to be prepared for baptism and is so enthusiastic about it! We were fortunate to meet with the mission president on Sunday and he was leaving just as Walter was coming in. I said, Walter this is the president of the mission. He said, "Hello, I am baptized." It's even more precious in Italian. That is how he introduces himself to every member of the church that he meets. President just shook his hand and said, "Well congratulations!" Now it's time to start preparing for the temple!
Yesterday we had our zone conference. It was just wonderful! We learned so many things about teaching and the importance of focusing on the people we teach and the Spirit. We can testify of truth all day long but it's the Spirit that helps them receive their own testimony!
