Hey everyone!!!
This is gonna be a short email sadly. I had some awesome emails from friends and family so I spent too much time emailing back and didn't realize how little time I had left.
This week was another great week of service. We went to one house and shoveled so much mud!!! It was crazy. She had about 2 feet of much surrounding her barn that we had to shovel away. It was fun. But also a loooootttttt of mosquitos. I am sooo itchy. But not worse than the time that we had bed bugs... Haha I don't think I ever made that public. But yeah... Bed bugs are da devil. Anyway, we shoveled mud, we babysat dumpsters( to make sure no hazardous wastes went in- I got a massive sunburn), we pulled out dry wall. One house we went to but no one was home was way up in the mountains. It was so beautiful. It reminded me of driving in the mountains at home. Tender mercies :) Except the mountains here are HUGE! Seriously, so different than back home but so beautiful. And the leaves are changing. I'm grateful I am in this area because we have quite a few trees. It is beautiful.
Also, on Friday it snowed. I didn't get any pics of it because I had a meeting in Loveland all day for my Sister Training Leader calling. The snow was pretty but let me tell you, I am not ready for it... Its too early for snow. But from what everyone was saying it was a pretty fluke thing. Hopefully they are right.
Anyways, I gotta run. Sorry it is so short. But I love you all! You are in my prayers.
Con amor,
Hermana Jarvis
