Buona mattina!
So this week is transfer week...again. My companion for only 6 weeks is heading off to Pordenone. Basically she's going back to side of the country I came from. She gets to serve with the lovely Sorella Hunter one of my good friends and she knows my new companion Sorella Hallum.
This week was great! Sorella Nelson has been here for 4 transfers, this is her city but we both kinda knew it was coming. I love her very much and am sad to see her go but I know there are amazing things waiting for her in Pordenone and we had a great transfer together! This week we had a wonderful tri-ward activity called "la verga di ferro" or the iron rod. I'm pretty sure that we did an activity like this in the stake a few years back and it was super fun. We had members, investigators, and non members and it was just a fun time :)
We also had a huge miracle this weekend: a family we have been working with for 4 transfers finally came to church! And they loved it!! They are the greatest people. They love us so much but we just couldn't get them to come to church. But they did! And we specifically asked members to fellowship them and it went great! They members were all excited to be a part of the work and they were all just great! All the members at the end were like, so will we see you next week?? It was super cute!
It's crazy that my life is measured in 6 weeks increments but it's kinda nice. Getting a new companion completely changes everything even if you're in the same city. I'm super excited for this new experience! I know that with a new companion that means there are new things I can learn about another person and myself. The Lord always places people in our lives to help us grow and change.
I love you all! Write me! Tell me about your life, share with me your missionary experiences and everything you want!
Take care :)
Vi voglio bene,
Sorella Jarvis
