Week 5 of my mission 11-2-15

What a week!!! This week had some ups! Had exchanges with the zone
leaders! Prayers were answered! Fast and testimony meeting! It was
just a fun week.
  Tuesday I went on exchanges with the zone leaders! My companion went
to the zone leaders area and Elder Warden was my companion! He is such
a great missionary. He is one diligent missionary. He talked to
everybody. I mean everybody! Because he talked to everybody we found
new people to teach! He also showed me some really cool ways to
improve my street contacts. Which I really needed some help on. Then,
he taught me how to use the area book on my iPad, because I had no
clue.
 We took a priest out Wednesday night named Jacob. We were tracting
and we knocked on this door. A woman answered and let us in. We just got
to know her and what her beliefs are. Then, the subject of Mormons
having horns came up (we don't). Well she does! She had brain surgery
and made us feel the 2 bumps on her head! Freakiest thing😟
My first real investigator that I've been teaching had his baptismal
interview! That was so awesome! He gets baptized this Saturday! So
excited for him! Saturday the 7th is going to be one awesome day!
Halloween was great! Hahahahaha so Friday night our phone broke, so we
had no contact with any leadership or our members. We some how for the
whole weekend got rides to everywhere we needed to be. That was a huge
blessing! So anyways, Saturday we we had to be at the mission office
at 5 because we aren't allowed to proselyte. So everyone in the valley, or
within an hour drive of Vegas had to be there. We expected dinner to
be provided which it wasn't so my companions and I were starving.
Every zone had to put on a skit so my zone did the worse member
present lesson😂 I had to be the new missionary in the lesson and my
companion was Elder Thorne! It was super funny! Our whole zone acted
as a family and we invited the parents to come fellowship and they
couldn't find a babysitter so they brought everyone! They were like
praying to Joseph Smith and saying everyone is a prophet and black
people couldn't hold the priesthood😂😂😂😂 than Elder Sims and my
companion Elder Hayes came in! Elder Hayes was deacon Hayes and Elder
Sims was a preacher it was great 😂😂
  Sunday was fast and testimony meeting and it was great! The primary
kids get up a lot and bare their testimony and it is the sweetest
thing ever!
My testimony is growing everyday! This week the power of prayer is one
of the greatest tools God has given us. Believing that your prayers
will come true and you will receive an answer you will! I can testify
to that! My love for the savior has grown immensely! Understanding the
atonement of Christ is just amazing. Learning that it doesn't just
cover repentance and him knowing you that it covers everything! I know
that this church is true and that Christ is at the head! I love
calling myself a missionary and being able to go out and represent
Christ in everything I do! It's just amazing
