As I look back on each week, it's crazy how much you really get done! Update for Ian 11-16-15

First companionship with Elder H

Goodbye picture with Sam

Boulder City is Area 52
Tuesday Elder H had a new district leader meeting, so he went
with Elder B and I got his companion Elder S. We expected
the meeting to only last an hour but it went on for about 2 and a
half. So I lead the area made the decisions on what we would do next!
I realized Elder H has taught me more than I thought. We went
through all our plans and we found out they wouldn't be back for
another hour. So, we went and picked up a member and started to go to
our lessons throughout the day! I didn't think I had it in me to lead
the area and to get what we needed to get done!

Wednesday we packed food for the Salvation Army! It was so cold in
the back but we got free Pizza Hut so it was worth it. Then I went on
exchanges with Elder S! Lead the area again! Elder S
is a boss missionary! He taught me so much in just being bold but not
over bearing, being diligent talking to everyone, and sticking to the
things that you planned!

Thursday, we got chicken shack!!!! That place is awesome! Whenever we
go on exchanges with the zone leaders we end it there! We also got a
call that we are getting a car!!!!! #blessings this church is true!!
We are on the way to get it now!

Friday, was tough, all of our lessons got dropped so we were just
trying to find things to do to stay diligent and stay working.
Knocking doors is a hard thing. Missionary work is definitely not what
you expect! I can testify to that.

Saturday was a crazy day! It was the going away party for Sam! His
mom cooked him a thanksgiving dinner because he is leaving for
basic training for the Navy. We had some lessons that night and set up
family home evenings!

Yesterday was crazy! Had to give a talk in each ward and teach a
class in each ward! Talking at sacrament is so stressful especially
when you are winging your talk ha ha... Whoops. That was all the Spirit
right there! Than we had a fireside where people talk about their
conversion stories, it's always so powerful! Love them so much!
