Well in the last week I picked up a new companion in Firenze, went
to our area for 1 day and then Firenze (Florence) for General Conference and
then Monday again for a meeting/training. Yes, this week has been crazy. My
companion knows more about Firenze than where we live. But that is something
really great about our mission. We are constantly travelling but that's just
normal for us. I have gotten to know this country so well and I love it so much!
My new companion is seriously so great! We are twins. Yes, gemelle. I love
it! We have so many things in common and working together is just fun! On Sunday
we had a super great miracle: We were coming home from conference and I was
looking at my planner thinking about the crazy week. I spent the entire day
Thursday-- from 9 to 6-- in the train station and then the other days were just
as crazy. We weren't able to teach as many lessons as usual and I wasn't too
proud, not gonna lie. I looked at my new companion and said, this won't do. We
said a prayer on the train and we able to teach 3 lessons between there and our
stop. It was great! It really made me think of how much our Heavenly Father
blesses us in His work. We are doing this for Him and for our brothers and
sisters. I only hope that Sorella Condie and I can continue to have this sort of
diligence-- or panic. Who knows?
Yesterday we had a wonderful day and Sorella Condie was actually able to
meet some people we work with! Something I love about working farther south in
the mission is that the people are so warm and loving. Not that they aren't in
the north, it's just a different thing. I love it! I got more fresh eggs from
our investigator ha ha I've decided I have to have a chicken... So much
better.
