Can you believe it? update for Meagan 4-7-14

There are just so many things to follow up after that question!

Can you believe that General Conference is over?

Can you believe that I've been gone so long?

Can you believe that in just 3 weeks I will be on my way home?

And can you believe that there are so many things to be grateful for in this life?!?!

Yesterday one of our investigators, Jose, came to the Sunday afternoon session of General Conference. It was amazing. The Friday before we asked him about questions he had and invited him to look for answers to his questions throughout General Conference. All of his questions were answered! How does Heavenly Father do it?! Isn't it so amazing how he can help others prepare months in advance for 15 million people around the world to receive revelation for their lives! So amazing. After Conference we talked to Jose about the things that he learned. It was amazing. He learned so much. We had the opportunity to invite him to be baptized and he is now praying about a date to be baptized. Heavenly Father knows each one of our needs and as we seek His guidance He will help us in our decisions! What a blessing.

Also, at General Conference there was a young girl named Emily. There are 6 kids in her family and she is the only girl. All she wants are some sister missionaries to serve in her ward so I spent some time talking to her and encouraging her even though she is surrounded by boys. It was adorable. On Saturday she saw me taking notes for conference she says, " Cool! I really love how you take notes!" Then on Sunday just after the morning sessions ends, she runs up to me and asks, "Can I see your notes from today?!" It was so cute! So I hope maybe she will come to love General Conference more as she learns to make it fun!

If you didn't watch Conference, go  back and watch it! And make it fun! M. Russel Ballard extended some pretty amazing invitations for us all to follow! I know that as we follow guidance from the Apostles and Prophets we will be guided and we can truly find happiness in our lives!

THE WORK IS HASTENING!  Go share the Gospel! Invite others to act. Act yourself if need be and watch how you and others grow closer to the Savior!

I love you all!!! Have a wonderful week :) Miss you very much and see you soon :)
