1. I'm teaching the gospel in Spanish
2. Hna Snow is a rockstar and super driven
3.We had 5 basically 6 investigators at church yesterday!4. First week of the transfer and I have already beat my record for the most lessons taught in a week.
5. We had 6 people at our English class that we teach. None of which were members!!!!
And I could go on and on... but alas, I am running out of time and my poor
little pinkie finger hates the cold and doesn't like typing.
I love being a missionary. Although it has been cold, we survived and near
death experience, met a modern day hippie "Just don't run over squirrels and
torture raccoons and you are alright with me..." we have worked hard and been
blessed for our efforts. Hna Snow, my companion, is amazing. She is from
Winnemucca, Nevada and have a testimony of inviting others to come unto Christ.
It is cool to be able to come into an area where the people already know my
companion (she has been here since October).
I love you all and hope you have an amazing week :) How are the spiritual
experiences going? You should write me about them! Heavenly Father is preparing
many and you never know who you will affect when you open your mouth to share
the gospel. I love it!!!!
Con carino,
Hermana Jarvis
1. We accidentally left our door open at the church and it was snowing...
ooops....
2. Sister Sowder's family sent me a package with a CD, $20, and a temple
recommend protector that is in Spanish. That family is soooo legit!
