Hermana Snow and I do something called "milagroing". Don't worry. That is
not an actual word. Hna Snow and I made it up. "milagro" is Spanish for miracle
and the last part of the word sounds like growing. So we say we are going
"miracle making" and we have been trying to do this everyday. We have seen a lot
of success from it so far and some days are harder than other's but we really have
to listen to the Spirit and find out where he needs us to go. It is really a
neat experience. We found 2 different families that we are planning on teaching
this week :) How cool!!!
Here is Hna Snow and I "milagroing" on Valentine Ln. for Valentine's day!!!
Sooooo fun! Sorry the picture doesn't look that great. We set it down on the car
and timed it hahahaha.
Another cool experience that we had this week. Well I don't know if I would
call it cool. But an experience we had... We teach an English class every week
and there is one guy who comes. Fransisco is his name and the only thing he can
do is speak Spanish. He doesn't know how to read in Spanish so this is making it
very challenging. But he has such a desire to learn. That is all he wants to do.
So he endures our terrible Spanish as we try and help him learn English. The
people here are just so amazing. We have so many blessings and opportunities in
this country. I can't wait to continue to help him learn.
I love being a missionary. Not only do we get to invite others to come unto
Christ every day, we get to help them find purpose in this life and help them in
so many other ways. I love serving and learning more about my personal
relationship with Christ. What an amazing journey this is!!!
And this is the reason for the title of my letter :) Las Misioneras are
Awesome! A couple of kids in our ward made this mural for us when we were
visiting them!!!! How fun :)
Love you all! Hope you have a wonderful week!!! Have Spiritual Experiences

Hermana Jarvis

Let Sister Jarvis know we miss her and are thinking of her! It's wonderful to read of their successes in her new area and I loved how they are helping Fransisco with his language skills, what a blessing for all of them as they associate with one another.
