Last week was a week for the record books. Sorella Hallum has
become one of my best friends. Funny how that happens when you are assigned to
be with someone 24/7 for 4 months that you've never before. We are a team and I
know that together we can do anything. Being together this 3rd transfer has been
amazing. We say to ourselves every single day. Third times a charm! And you know
what, is it. this last week we decided to have 30 lessons to close finish off
our time together. This was crazy... To get that many lessons you have to talk
to everyone and make lots of calls and be willing to not stop and sacrifice. We
got to Sunday afternoon and we did it! We reached 30! But why stop there when
you could get 33 :) So we didn't stop and minutes before 9 we got our 33rd
lesson.
Going into this third transfer together we needed to have a scripture to
motivate us. As a joke we looked through every section in the scriptures with
3s. Third Nephi 3:33, Alma 33:3, Alma 3:33-- every single one. And Sorella
Hallum found Mosiah 3:33. It says, "Awake! And hear the words which I shall tell
thee. We are come to declare glad tidings of great joy." Nothing makes me
happier than looking at my planner every day and see my purpose-- to declare
glad tidings of great joy! I am leaving tomorrow for Monte Varchi in Florence to
begin new adventures. While I am sad to leave, I am ready. I love Bergamo with
my whole heart and I know there are many more people I have yet to love and
learn from.
Thanks for all your love and support! Nothing happens in missionary work
without a support team. You are all amazing!
