This week we had Stake Conference and it was amazing. I learned so much.
Our Stake President. President Packard, said "Don't Fear Repentance, Face It!"
and I absolutely loved it. Jesus Christ suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane so
that He would know how to give each one of us, Heavenly Father's children,
relief in this life. Through repentance we can gain a greater understanding of
the love and mercy Jesus Christ has to offer us. Allowing the Atonement to play
a role in our lives shows our humility- our willingness to submit to the will of
the Lord and give Him the honor for what we have accomplished. It also shows our
strength.
I love learning and growing each day. It is amazing to see how Heavenly
Father is blessing me and those around me. I love studying the scriptures and
learning how they apply to my life. This past week I finished reading the
General Conference ensign from October and it was amazing to continue to learn
from the talks given by men called of God to preach the Gospel. I love learning.
The scriptures were given to us to strengthen us and teach us and how grateful I
am to know that I can receive guidance and revelation each and every day! We can
have spiritual experiences everyday!!!!! Make it happen. Ask Heavenly Father to
help you learn what He would have you know! He will tell you. I have seen it
happen and it is amazing to feel Him teaching you.
As far as missionary work is going, this week we got the most lessons we've
had this whole transfer. It was great. I love sharing the gospel with others and
watching their faces when something clicks and starts to make sense. It is
amazing. I love being a missionary.
I love you all and hope that things are going well for you! Say your
prayers and the Lord will give you strength to accomplish all things :) I love
you!
