Holo,
This week has been crazy so much as been going on and tons of work that needs to be done.
Are area is slowing falling apart. We are just not finding people to teach. We've be letting go of people that won't progress, but haven't been able to restock the list of investigators with potentials. It has been nice though because we had a to try new ways of finding and it might lead to some really cool people to teach.
3/26 We had exchanges for the day. I was with Elder Munoz. He's fresh out of the Mtc. Only been in Phoenix 6 weeks almost. We had to go to his area and I had to help him out. He did a really good job with it. He worries and stresses to much, but he did great. At the end of exchanges were supposed to do a breakdown of the day and talk about spiritual gifts. Really Something special that other missionaries look for to your talents. So my last exchange with Elder Steinfeldt (Elder Munoz's companion) was great as well. In that breakdown, Elder Steinfeldt talked about how I have a great spiritual patience. That I don't get frustrated and all that stuff. During the breakdown with Elder Munoz, he said I have the spiritual gift of patience. PRETTY SWEET! Two different elders said that I have the same spiritual gift. Elder Steinfeldt said that he has never had two Elders say the same gift before. Pretty special moment.
3/29 I got y'alls packages. They were great. Thanks for everything. The pills will work just great. Thanks Tracy. The ties are nice Jess. Thanks for them. The cash is much appreciated as well.
3/29 In the district we had an idea to do a "District Barrage" in each of our areas. We have 3 companions in my district. We went to the Sur (South) area and knocked the doors there. We found referrals for both the Spanish and the English elders. It worked great. I'm looking for to doing it this Friday in Norte (North) because our ward mission leader wants to get the ward involved in it. So we can have splits. The district seemed to really like that we did it. They seemed motivated because it was something different and they didn't have any bias towards the area.
3/30 We had 3 baptisms on Saturday. I baptized the 2 boys and Elder Neves baptized the girl. Really cool. For the boys, I basically just threw them under water so that everything was under and nothing popped out. The baptism talks and everything were crazy tho. Members showed up late and the mission leader was improvising and it was good. The entire thing was done in less than an hour.
