So two weeks ago we had the stake bar b que. There was 10-14 wards here. It was so many people. I have never seen something like that before. We had carne asada burritos. They were really good. We had an investigator there. We did a church tour after. Super special. When we got to the Chapel we left the lights off and sat down in the dark and talked about church and everything that goes on. It was really special. I never that about doing that before. Super strong spirit. This investigator is super cool. She was atheist and now says that she has faith. She actually came to church this past sunday and liked it. She had to do an intro for 2nd hour and said that she was atheist, but after the lessons she have faith. Super awesome intro.
Sunday march 3 Elder Neves and I had to go to Cottonwood for a baptismal interview. Super cool. We had to drive 1.5 hours to get there b/c we were the closest elders that could do it. Really Pretty drive. Like nothing I've really experienced before. The canyons make for interesting roads. At one point it looked like we were just going to fly into the sky. Words can't explain.
3/9 Elder Neves almost died. It was crazy. Time actually slowed down. I don't know how to describe it. He was riding his bike. A car didn't see him. It almost slammed right into him. I witnessed everything. It was so close.
There is a member in the english ward that meets here. He came out with us to a spanish lesson. He's a convert of 2 years. He was just called to serve in mesa arizona. How crazy is that. He is super legit. Kinda makes me wish that I could have been a convert and had chosen this life for myself instead of being born into it. It's super cool to see growth like that.
Neck and face and still hurting me. The doc. seems to be helping, but I don't really know. I'm just kinda dealing with the pain. I don't really know what to do. not much i can do. I'll be fine tho.
