What a wonderful week! I can't believe it is already 2013! Woww. So awesome! WE didn't celebrate much for the new year...We were too exhausted but it was a super fun day!
This week the MTC has been sick haha well half of the people in the MTC got sick... No fun. It was this nasty stomach virus. People who got sick couldn't return to class for 48 hours after symptoms stopped. Hermana Seaborn got hit... No fun but thankfully she is feeling better now! I am really grateful and neither Hermana Hendrickson or I got sick. 2 other elders in our district got sick too so in class for the past 2 days it has only been 2 elders and 2 hermanas. It was kinda nice to actually have a little bit of quiet.
I am getting really excited to get to Colorado!!! I can't believe it is so soon. My scheduled date to leave is the 28th so hopefully soon I will get my travel plans! The ankle is doing much better! Now that the sprain is healed and I only have to deal with the tiny break it really doesn't hurt too much. I have been using the crutches as little as possible especially since it is so cold! So cold that I had my first ever real nosebleed this morning. It scared me cause I was just so confused. But it didn't last long and it wasn't too bad. My skin is also starting to crack open cause it is so dry and I typically apply lotion at least 2 times a day... I am thinkin about stealing some medical gloves from our cleaning supply room and sleeping with them on, filled with lotion. I am desparate!!! Haha
The language is coming along fantastic. Alright so maybe not fantastic but considering how much I knew when I got here it is pretty much fantastic! I can carry on a small conversation, I can bear my testimony, and I can say a simple prayer. I am working on making my prayers more sincere in spanish, I just need to work on the vocabulary more... Wish me luck!!
Tell Mommom thanks for her letter! I seriously cried I was so shocked :) I was so happy to see it! Also Carra!!! I got your letter :) Thanks so much! I hope you feel better soon! You are def in my prayers cause it is no fun being sick :)

I want you all to know that I know that this gospel is true! I know that is has the power to change lives and if you let it, the Atonement can heal all your pain, can give you all the confidence in the world, and can give you strength when you feel like there is no one else who understands our feelings. I love my opportunity to serve and I cannot wait to meet those who the Lord has prepared for me to teach! I love my Savior, I love this gospel, and I love all of you!!! May God bless you all this week in what ever things you are doing! Be sage and write me lots of letters <3
