Hi everyone!!!!
This week has been fantastic :) Tuesday I had my podiatrist appt and it was great! I have been wearing the stupid ugly black boot! and it was so annoying! But now!!!! I get to at least wear just my brace for some of the day! I feel like I finally have an ankle again :) Super great! And I don't have any pain really so I am super blessed! Thanks for all the prayers that have been coming my way :) They are truly working!!!! Keep them coming!
Wahhhhhhh! I also got my flight plans this week! That is a great feeling! Hermana Seaborn and Elder Parker from my district are going to the same mission so I am super grateful to be flying with people I know! I leave Monday Jan. 28th!!!! I will be at the airport somewhere around 630 and 7am hopefully so be ready for a call! I am buying a phone card here at the MTC and we can call before our flights! So I am not sure exactly when it will be but you should expect it! Mom, I will probably call you first because it will still be super early here for Jessica. And then I will call Jess after that. It will be a short call. But I am so so so so so so excited! I am also super happy because my flight is only an hour and a half long! Woop woop!
Also, just guess who came to our Tuesday Devotional! I sat 11 rows back from ELDER HOLLAND!!!! That will be an experience I never want to forget! The Spirit of the room totally changed as soon as he walked in. I loved it. His talk was so powerful and made me super excited for the work. I took so many notes and was astonished the whole entire time. He also did a dedicatory prayer of 3 buildings here at the MTC and I have no doubt that the MTC is one of the safest places on the Earth. Heaven's angels are seriously guarding this place and what an amazing feeling that is! I hope that one day I can have a testimony of this gospel as Elder Holland. He is also super hilarious! I thought I was going to die most of the time because I was laughing. But then you also feel so reprimanded from the Lord but in such a good way, to where you just want to go out and do the work!
I am a missionary of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! There is no greater work that I have ever experienced and I am so grateful I am here!
Last Sunday I also said the prayer in our Sunday Night Fireside in front of more than 2,000 people but some great advise from Brother Angus who sits up on the stand... "If you get nervous, just close your eyes and you will do just fine." And let me tell you! It worked! I was so grateful :) But seriously it was a super amazing experience!
I love this gospel!!! I loved how I have changed in such a short amount of time! I look forward to the changings that I have yet to experience! This gospel is true and if that is the only thing that I ever know in this world, I know that I will still be ok!
Les amo mucho,
Hermana Jarvis
