Don't forget to fast and pray for the month of invites!!! update for Jessica 5-28-14

Don't forget to fast and pray for the month of invites!!!

Oh my goodness! This is another one of those weeks that writing is just so stressful because we just had such an amazing week! We're always working on a really big family history thing as missionaries (in preparation for the temple *whoop whoop*) and Mom sent me so many amazing pictures and information that I just got all kinds of distracted! *Shout out to Mom for all you do!* And congratulations on the job, Meagan! You will do amazing work and I know this is a blessing of your service! Keep it up!

Wednesday! We had a nice relaxing Pday with the Sorelle (sisters) in Firenze. We made pizza together! They were the biggest pizzas I have ever made! It was so fun and I just love them all so much!

Don't forget to fast and pray for the month of invites!!!

Thursday: Such a lovely day! We went to Susan and Dennis' for lunch. They will be baptized next weekend and we couldn't be more excited! We went over the baptismal interview and it was so powerful! Dennis is just a kid but he is so amazing. The gospel has already changed his life so much and he is aware of it. He prays now and receives answers and recognizes them. And Susan has told us that before the church came into her life she held some much anger inside of her but now she is at peace. Beautiful. BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!
Later that night we had a "light dinner" with our Italian mom! I love her so much! We talked about the Plan of  Salvation. She said that there are many hard things in her life that have made it so she is not worthy or has just messed up too much but we were able to promise her that it is never too late to change! She has had a hard life and has many struggles now but even in the short time I've known her I have seen her life get better. I just love her so much! Even if she did feed me spline and liver without telling me :( wah wah waahhh)

Friday!!! Friday was miraculous!!! FULL of miracles!! We had a first lesson with our new convert's mom. It was amazing! As soon as I met her--as soon as we start teaching her-- I knew she was ready. That she had been prepared for this. I felt such a strong connection with her too! She has seen a lot of trials in her life and she still has such an amazingly strong faith! I love her and can't wait to keep working with her! *Uniting families* Whooh!
That evening we did a restoration lesson with a member who just recently came her from Brazil and she brought her boyfriend with her to church! We had such a great lesson! The fact that Heavenly Father restored the true church of Jesus Christ and that we have a living prophet is a demonstration of how much He loves us! As I read and truly study the scriptures I know more and more with every part of my soul that Heavenly Father lives. That Christ suffered and died for us but He still lives! He leads and guides us every day through the prophet and leaders of the church. I see many people-- my same age older and younger-- every day and it makes me sad that they don't know what the point is or that there is nothing to believe in. But there is! There is such much and we don't even know!!

Saturday: Was a great day! We were able to visit some member family and make some family mission plans!!! Whoop whoop!! Best way to unify a family? The gospel! I love our branch! I think I say it every week but truly, these are the best group of missionaries I've ever worked with!! I love it!

This week we also did a scambio (exchange) in Pisa again. It was amazing! Miracles to come next week!

Don't forget to fast and pray for the month of invites!!!

Love you all! Let me know you're still alive and send me a letter :) Hehehehe it had to be said...

Take care,
