Halfway through first transfer Ian 10-19-15

This week has been just as amazing as the other weeks! Looking back on
each week reminds me of how much I've done and how much more I can
do!
    Tuesday I had my first exchange! It was awesome!!! We got three
new investigators but 2 of them are going to go to YSA(Young Single Adults).
Than we had super powerful lessons and I learned so much from Elder Sims! He has
been out for 14 months and is the district leader! Super cool guy and
he is from the east coast! Than he took me to a house where they have
like life sized dinosaurs and creepy babies😂 it was great! He taught
me so much in just a day.
     Than I had my first zone conference!! Super awesome! The
testimonies of the people leaving were so powerful. My favorite part
but also sad because I only got to know them for one transfer.
      Friday, was amazing! We got to go do a session at the Las Vegas
temple! My temple for the next two years! The people that went were
all the people training and being trained then the Mission President and
his wife and the A.P and sister training leaders! It was so great! Got
to see some friends from the MTC! The temple is so beautiful! So
grateful that I have a temple in my mission and I can go every three
months!
    Sunday was powerful. I had the chance to go to a "why I believe"
fireside! It was awesome! The conversion stories of the three converts
strengthened me and my decision to serve! I know the lord has put me
here be chase there are people out there that need me and I'm the only
that can help them. I met a woman at a bus stop, working on my street
contacts, turns out she was having the hardest time. I know that the
Lord timed it perfectly so I could meet her and share a brief message
with her to strengthen her through her hardships! I know that as I
humble myself and become exactly obedient to the commandment of God he
will bless me with more worth than anything on this earth could. My
testimony of diligence and always working is becoming stronger and
stronger everyday! The light that shines out of me can illuminate the
dark depths of others trials. That they can humble themselves and come
to the lord with a broken heart and a contrite spirit and the lord can
heal them and make them become greater than anything they could ever
imagine. I know that is why I'm here and why I chose to serve. This is
the Church of Jesus Christ and through him is only way back to
Heavenly Father. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
