Week 1 of Transfer 6 5-9-16

Week one was quite swell. Let me break it down for you. Tuesday my
apartment was diagnosed with bed bugs. This pesky bug is very near
impossible to get rid of. Through following the direction given to us
by our handy dandy exterminator he reassured us everything would be
okay! We have full faith that this is true. So, all day Tuesday, after
district council, we cleaned and cleaned and cleaned some more. It was
sooooooo fun:)

 Wednesday we cleaned all morning and the exterminator came in the
afternoon. He sprayed the place down in bug killer and we threw out
our couch and beds. We did all of our laundry, rewashed it all and the
bagged all of our stuff and set in the sun to kill the bugs. It was
quite delightful! The day ended and we slept on new beds and prayed
the bed bugs wouldn't bite!

Thursday, Elder Young got horribly sick. Was not good. So, we stayed
in for another day. It was pretty nice for me. Got to get super
organized and caught up on all my stuff I was behind on. Pretty great.
Elder Young slept the whole day!!!

Friday came around and he wasn't feeling any better. We had a Zone
training Conference that morning and Elder Young said he could sleep
in the foyer while I went to it. I was thankful for that. ZTC was
pretty awesome!!! Needed that so much! After we went home and Elder
Young slept for the rest of the day. I took a two hour nap and enjoyed
it:P

Saturday we were finally able to go out and work! The sisters in my
district had a baptism in the morning, so we went to that and it was
amazing! Afterwords, we went and ate lunch. We hit the streets and it
felt like home. Talking to everybody, teaching Jesus and his restored
gospel. Quite beautiful. Some guys ran out of gas so we helped them
push their car about a quarter mile to the gas station. It was pretty
fun. We headed over to our lesson and it started raining. We got
inside as quick as possible. We met with Ariel, we taught her the plan
of salvation and set her with a baptismal date! It was pretty dang
awesome!!!! Next, we hit up other appointments and just enjoyed being
able to work! Met some pretty awesome families and broke a spoke on my
tire. Hopping it won't completely destroy the tire.

Sunday was another Sunday of enjoying the Sabbath! It was a good day!
Got to go to church and got to call home for Mother Day! That was
awesome!!! Just enjoyed it. Really tender mercy:) that was my week
though. Hope yours went better:P

Friday, a recent convert of mine visited me!! He was my first baptism
