How's it going everybody!?! Hope you are doing well and enjoying the
weather. It's been in the high 90's past week. Been soooooo fun.
This week was great at the end. We started off Monday on a great note.
We were on on our way to our first lesson when my tire pops...
Again... So, we walked our bikes home and fixed it up and by the time
we did it was 8:30. Blah. So our Monday was spent inside all day.
Tuesday was super fun. We had district council in the morning! So
there are two districts in our stake and we started a challenge
between the two districts. Orchard valley verse east(me). The
challenge was to get investigators who have a baptismal date to go to
church. The winner gets to pie another companionship in the face. The
missionaries were pretty accepting of that:p we started that and it
was a lot of fun!!!
Wednesday, was a little down. We had to rewash all of our clothes
again because of the bed bugs. I think they are all gone now though!!!
So, it was pretty boring day.
Thursday was really fun! I went on exchanges with Elder Smith in the
Spanish area. We had a lot of fun going to appointment to appointment!
It was fun. We got free brownies and milkshakes. Quite the day. Also,
I said the closing prayer IN SPANISH!! It was fun, we ended exchanges
and just had fun.
Friday, Jorge and his wife took us out to dinner! Absolutely
love the R family:) they are the best! They took us out to eat
at Olive Garden! Yes Olive Garden:) it was quite delicious!!!! After
that, we had a lesson with Osa and his family! They are super awesome.
They said they would come to our church in two weeks to see what it is
like! Hoping they have a great time! They are just an awesome family.
Then, we found out one of our members got in a car accident. She is
okay, just bruised. They fed us dinner also:P
Saturday sucked. I woke up with a horrible migraine so I just went
back to bed! At 2 I mustered up and did 3 baptismal interviews for the
sisters in my district! It went well. I went back home and slept. I
woke up at 5 and felt good enough for one of my past priests, Jacob,
to come out. We had some fun talking with a lot of people.
We ended the night off with milkshakes at Sonic.
Sunday, was alright. Went to church and got 3 of our investigators to
come! That was great. After church we went over to Marlins house and
he said he wants to get baptized. We said you can get baptized😀 we
said, pray for a date and you will get baptized on that date!! We
are going to see him Thursday!!! Sunday was just great. We had lesson
after lesson and just enjoyed it all! We got numbers in Sunday night
and turns out it was a tie 5-5 for the challenge so we are just going
to pie each other!!
