Ok here is the new update for Jessica.
Allora, this week was crazy! From new missionary training we received the challenge from President Dibb to teach 21 lessons last week. We were working really hard, doing a lot of foot work, but we just weren't making too much progress. Friday came and we only had 5 lessons. We needed 6 that day. I am a firm believer in goals, I think they are a great motivation and they are really good for keeping us accountable. But I was starting to feel a little discouraged...or overwhelmed might be a better way to say it. I kinda realized last week that training is a little hard. Just because you're basically starting from scratch-- you can't just expect your companion to do something when they have never learned it before. I was kinda feeling like there was a lot of weight on my shoulders. Like if we didn't reach this goal it meant I personally was a horrible missionary.
Friday morning we have weekly planning which means 2 hours inside-- 2 hours
less of teaching lessons. That afternoon we went to English class and then
afterwards our new convert asked us to wait there and she would swing by to grab
us and we could walk with her to our lesson. While we waited a woman stopped us.
We were able to have a short lesson about prayer and she was like, "Here's my
number! Give me a call and how 'bout you come by next week?" Ok...fine... Then
our new convert being 17 years old asked if we wanted to take a walk around or
go straight home. I said, "we can around if you want to stop someone with us."
She said, "ok, then straight home it is." Ha ha. Love her! We were 30 seconds
from her house when we passed a couple of young adults. I stopped and said, "We
have to go talk to those 2." So we turned around and were able to have a lesson
with them! Caroline was all smiles after that!
Between 5:30-9 we were able to have our 6 lessons! It was amazing! When we
got home that night I just couldn't help but cry. I know without a doubt that the
Lord is the greatest force in this work!
Love you all!!

We saw this sign while walking in the country. Too bad, no trumpets
allowed...
