This week was quite amazing. Lots of miracles and those things preceding elder dodge's and I's faith! Just awesome. How was your week? You should write me and let me know what's up.
Tuesday was just a great day. We were making lesson plans for our lessons that day. I thought lets just talk about happy things and shy away from baptism for a bit. So, we did that. We go over to our investigators place and just start talking. She talks about her life and the crazy things going on, then says it's time for me to get baptized. That's what God told me. Jaw drops... Turn beat red, and flip the freak out. She starts laughing at me and making fun of me.
"Didn't expect that did ya?" YEAH. What a glorious time. So we taught her the word of wisdom and she quit smoking on the spot! Boom. Then, she came to church on Sunday. So, yes I'm happy.
Oh yeah, I met a full blooded Navajo. Her name is Lawyette. It was pretty awesome talking about the BOM with her. She was like those stories sound really familiar. Huh, I wonder why that is. It was fun talking with her and how she grew up on the reservation. It was pretty dang cool.
Wednesday we had this thing called Mission Leadership Conference.
Where all the leaders in the mission get together and go over things in the mission and how we want to improve. It was quite awesome.
Revelation received. Then, we went to get a car wash and it was free.
Perks of being a missionary. Members own the place and let missionaries get free car washes. Pretty nice. Then, we could get free drinks. I will go more often. Delightful day.
The rest week was great. I have a car for AC. That's a blessing. This part member family fed us lunch and they are awesome. Going to continue to work with them! Hope all of you are well. Have a great week.
