Tuesday was crazy. It was transfer Tuesday. In the morning the Spanish
elder picked us up and we dropped Elder Buzan off at the temple for
his last session with president. He is going home. Then, we dropped
Elder Young off and we picked up Elder Dodge! He is 6'5 and my first
companion I see eye to eye with😏. Then, we dropped Elder Smith off at
the temple to go see some recent converts.
Elder dodge and I closed an apartment and put
all of our new stuff in the new apartment. We picked up Elder Smith
and then waited for the out of valley missionaries to show up. Elder
Smith and, who we were waiting on, boutisque are both training. So,
they were comps for the day till they got there trainees Wednesday. We
were finally able to go preach Jesus at 4!
Wednesday was pretty good! Got to know Elder Dodge a bit and we had a
full day to proselyte. We got a text in the middle of the day saying one of
our investigators getting baptized got arrested... Well then. So that
was sad. We carried on with our day! Just enjoying our time.
Thursday, we got to know the new ward, Vegas Manor. The ward mission
leader came out with us for a few hours and then had a correlation
afterwards. Enjoyed teaching with him. He is all fired up for
missionary work! That night we met the recent convert Isaiah. I
actually did his baptismal interview and he came out with us to meet
Travis. Travis is pretty cool! We taught the gospel of Jesus Christ
and he accepted it full and is ready to get baptized July 9.
Friday, was sketch. We had a zone training conference and the
leadership blind folded us and lead through some obstacles and that
was compared to an investigator keeping commitments! It was fun till
tazers were brought in. Scared the crap out of me. The rest of our
Friday was awesome. That investigator was released from jail and is
still good to get baptized next Saturday! Pretty miraculous!!!
Saturday we weekly planned. The sisters, I'm a district leader over
their ac unit broke so they asked us to open the chapel up for them to
do it there. We had a member out with us from 1 till 9! It was a great
day!!!
Sunday we had to do splits for church. Both wards start at 9! So, we
need some community to run this area. Elder Dodge is amazing and I
love him already! Sunday was awesome! We tore it up and love all of our
investigators.
